It is what it is and it's really jacked up. May God have mercy on us for becoming what we have become.

Tea Party Fallacy
The Boston Tea Party occurred because of the concept of fair government. People were tired of paying in to a government that was giving nothing back in return; taxation without representation was what they called it. Those men did not throw that tea into the harbor to destroy or dismantle government, they did so because they wanted a government that actually worked for its citizens. These modern day tea party citizens could give a rat's ass about fair government; they seek to bathe the already super rich with more wealth so they can have powerful friends with powerful accounts. It is obvious as well that they seek to dismantle and destroy as much of the federal government as they can, with glee nonetheless. Our founding fathers made this country by building the healthiest, fairest, and most liberating government the world had ever seen up to that point. Since those early days there have been a many a fringe group come and try to destroy the government that has served them well, but it could be argued that this modern day tea party construct is riddled with more fallacy than all the rest. The Boston Tea Party was a small action for a great many people. The modern day tea party wants great actions for a very few people. These assholes took their name from an event simply for one reason; the Boston Tea Party was definitely done to make real trouble. In that way I guess they are the same because they have certainly caused trouble, but once again, two different kinds. I do not respect in any way people of the tea party, so much so, that I will never capitalize their title, or think of them as a real group. Their words are empty and two-sided just like their title, and to trust them with the business of the American people would be great, terrible folly. Thoughts of them have probably already delivered me to the Judge, but I hope and pray that they cannot deliver us all.
