Steven Hawking's hell

What it must be like to have all those fully functioning neuro synaptic parts and yet have the freedom of movement of the very house you are in. Through the years I really have tried to follow Dr. Hawking's revelations about the state of our existence, but recently the man said that the idea of God is just simply the construct of weak minds in an environment they can't understand. I agree whole heartedly about the concept of weak minds, and there is no doubt that we are in an environment that we don't understand. When someone reaches a point of wisdom that allows them to internally rationalize that God is simply a tool of convenience and comfort, and that only the weak minded could fancy such a fairy tale, that person has reached a point of no return, an event horizon of the heart so to speak. What Dr. Hawking fails to see in his precise thinking is that even his brilliant thoughts are a part of the Mystery. The good doctor believes that he knows more than most, but he will never be able to unify the theory. The good doctor is no smarter than the fools and weak minds that have imagined an existence where he might stand right up out of that wheelchair and run down the street to embrace someone he loves. There is a large portion of myself that wants to be angry with Steven Hawking, and to hate him for saying such things about something so a part of me. I cannot hate the man, for I realize that Heaven and hell are present in all our daily lives all the time. Dr. Hawking's brilliance is an example of our present situation. He has access to vast amounts of knowledge, but he does not know what he knows. If a man thinks himself wise, then surely the saints will be standing around him when he pronounces what he knows. Dr. Hawking, maybe Tom Cruise will pick you up in his spaceship and you guys can go have a picnic on a Rosche Lobe. Godspeed
