We the people of this nation so grand,
where are our voices with the struggles at hand?
Our freedom is lost in a jungle of debt;
how did we get here, how'd we forget?
We once were explorers, and seekers of new;
what we've become, well, God only knew.
Greedy and mean and dumb to the core,
these are the voices, the voices that roar.
We tea party this and occupy that,
all adding up to shit in a hat.
The rich want their wealth and the poor want their food,
upon all of us the devil has pooed.
Whatever was good of the American dream,
seems to have lifted and parted like steam.
We the people of this nation so grand,
what are we now, and how do we stand?
