Rich Preachers

There are a lot of men and women in the United States who preach in the name of Jesus Christ while living opulent lives with gigantic bank accounts. People standing on pulpits in the grandest halls telling the grandest stories, all the while, lavished and pampered beyond all reason. Look at their clothes, and look at their jewelry, and it is easy to spot that they are wolves dressed as wolves. And the sheep take their places in the stands of pews and gobble up what the wolves would have them eat. Rich men or women have no business teaching the lessons of Christ the Lord. This life is their god and their god has blessed them richly, but their god is a burning fire that can never be quenched, never be extinguished, not by humans anyhow. Christ warned of them, He told us to beware of those who after Him would bare false witness. I tell you the truth, I would rather speak to a homeless person on matters of God than any rich preacher on earth. Those who have become rich and comfortable here on earth while so many suffer and struggle, should not be the leaders of revealing the truth. Their lifestyles are a beam in their own eye, so how will they remove the speck from their congregation's eyes? It certainly is troubling that so many souls flock to them for their hope in faith. They seek a rich man's guide to entering the heavens, but there is no such guide. Our Father spoke of no such way. Rich, and lost, and preaching the way, away from them, most should stay.
