A Call for Real Good Men

What do we consider a good man? A man with success? A man with wealth? A man with nice things and a secure future? A man with a great family? A public official? A policeman? A firefighter? A Marine? What exactly is it that constitutes a good man in this modern era of ours? This question is so important because look around. Look at what the United States has become. We are the haves, the have nots, and a whole bunch of not giving a shit in the middle. We pride ourselves on being created by good men, for good men, of good men, and yet to look around today one could easily conclude that good men are going extinct. Good men don't give a shit about money. Good men do not tow party lines. Good men don't give a rat's ass about the color of a man's skin. Good men fight for the poor and turn their noses up at the rich. A good man doesn't concern himself with gay or strait, only with content of character. A good man is not rich with earthly wealth, for earthly wealth makes one Heavenly poor. A good man is a man of peace. All of these things I have described as the attributes of a good man, where are they shining through in America? We are still bigots. We are still greedy assholes. We judge each other like never before. Never, ever, ever, have we been involved with so much war for so long. It is due time that good men start making themselves known and start putting pressure on those who are about as good as a frog turd on an alligator's ass...please
